Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash and process sales transactions efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling safety
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed and ensure food safety protocols are followed
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve guests promptly
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques
- Experience with food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests confidently
