Experienced Dog Groomer
Part-Time Position with Opportunity to Grow to Full-Time
Ultimate Dog is an established, busy grooming salon looking for an experienced dog groomer to join our team. If you take pride in your work, enjoy building relationships with clients, and believe quality grooming is more important than rushing through appointments, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, personable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, positive attitude with both dogs and their owners.
Position Requirements
- Minimum one year of professional dog grooming experience required.
- Must be able to groom and provide breed-appropriate or owner-requested haircuts on all breeds and coat types.
- Excellent handling skills and a genuine love for dogs.
- Friendly, professional customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Groom dogs to Ultimate Dog's quality standards.
- Consult with clients regarding their grooming preferences.
- Check clients in and out.
- Answer phones and schedule appointments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming salon.
- Assist with other daily salon duties as needed.
Part-time position with the opportunity to grow into full-time for the right person.
Compensation is based on experience.
Saturday Availability Required
This position requires working Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please apply only if you are available to work Saturdays.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
