Project Manager (Washington DC)
Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Director of Operations, this is a leadership function charged with providing oversight of security operations and leadership to security personnel assigned to a critical infrastructure security program. The standard duty hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday with immediate accessibility and availability during off hours.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have at least five (5) years of leadership experience managing a multi-location critical infrastructure security program or similar high-profile security operation.

Must have extensive, verifiable physical security management experience, preferably overseeing large, geographically dispersed security programs, including startup/cold-start operations.

Must have demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Post Orders, policies, and procedures that support operational effectiveness and business objectives.

Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (writing sample may be required).

Must be able to operate independently as a Program Manager with minimal supervision while effectively leveraging corporate resources and support.

Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.

Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels and diverse backgrounds.

Must be able to quickly learn new systems and processes; experience with WinTeam, TrackTik, or similar workforce management platforms is strongly preferred.

Must be able to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and meet strict deadlines while maintaining professionalism.

Must possess reliable transportation for commuting, field assignments, and regional travel as required.

Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
The Project Manager’s duties must include, but are not limited to the following:
Operational Responsibilities:

Provides oversight of the day-to-day operations of the security program.

Provides guidance to multiple Site Supervisors / Site Leads and uniformed personnel to include officers and team leaders.

Build, improve and maintain relationships with both external customers (clients) and internal customers (employees)

Liaison with key corporate support staff, along with key client personnel while conducting job duties in accordance with the performance requirements of contract.

Coordinate needed support services to effectively manage the security program to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service.

Advises management and support staff on operational policies, procedures and processes.

Keep records and prepare accurate and timely reports both manually and through automated methods. Reports include, but are not limited to daily activity logs, shift reports, incident/accident reports, etc.

Possess and maintain superior working knowledge of industry-related contract security practices/employment laws to support security operations

Direct oversight of large-scale special events hosted at client site
Administrative Responsibilities:

Maintains sound and effective labor relations with company employees, Corporate Support staff and Senior Management.

Develops, manages, and maintains all services necessary to meet all local and national regulatory requirements, inclusive of applicable health and safety requirements

Generates personnel actions for employee violations

Submission of reviewed weekly operating schedule and timesheets to payroll department

Coordinates processing of termination / resignation packages upon employee departure
