Responsibilities

- Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results to diagnose issues accurately.
- Maintain precise medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure all records are up-to-date.
- Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to guarantee patient safety during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term dental health.
- Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques.
- Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
- Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures within a clinical setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical documentation best practices to ensure confidentiality and accuracy.
