We are currently in need of sales support on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and also looking for a mechanic 2-3 days a week. The schedule for the mechanic can be flexible, possibly nights if desired.

Duties
- Perform comprehensive bike repairs and maintenance, including brake adjustments, suspension tuning, wheel truing, drivetrain servicing, and general mechanical repairs using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire replacements, gear adjustments, and component installations to ensure bikes are safe and ready for riding.
- Assemble new bikes efficiently and accurately according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring quality control before sale.
- Diagnose mechanical issues with precision by leveraging mechanical knowledge and experience as a service technician.
- Provide expert advice on bike features, accessories, and maintenance needs to customers seeking guidance or solutions.
- Assist customers in selecting bikes and accessories that match their riding style and needs while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Manage retail transactions accurately using retail math skills, including processing sales, handling payments, and maintaining inventory records.
- Support visual merchandising efforts to create appealing displays that highlight products and promote sales.
- Lift heavy bikes or parts safely during repairs or stock handling to meet safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency in all repair and sales activities.
- Build strong relationships with customers by providing knowledgeable support on cycling techniques, product features, and maintenance tips.
Experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, suspension systems, brake repair techniques, and assembly processes.
- Demonstrated ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake adjustments, suspension tuning, wheel truing, and drivetrain repairs.
- Retail sales experience with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely during bike repairs or stock management activities.
- Passion for cycling with a good understanding of different bike types (mountain bikes, road bikes, hybrids) and accessories.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly attitude that fosters positive customer interactions.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in both repair work and sales processes.
