Position Overview
We’re looking for an IT Compliance Representative to own the compliance side of our client engagements and internal operations. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes regulatory frameworks, enjoys translating complex requirements into practical action items, and wants the flexibility of a part-time schedule with a clear path to full-time as the role grows.
You’ll work directly with our leadership team, technical staff, and clients to assess gaps, build remediation plans, and keep our clients audit-ready across multiple frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance assessments and gap analyses for clients against HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and CMMC frameworks
- Prepare clients for cyber insurance applications and renewals, including completing technical questionnaires and supporting underwriter requests
- Develop, maintain, and update written policies, procedures, and documentation required by each framework
- Coordinate with our technical team to implement and verify required controls (access management, encryption, logging, MFA, backup posture, etc.)
- Track remediation efforts and maintain compliance status dashboards for each client
- Stay current on regulatory changes, particularly CMMC 2.0 updates, HIPAA Security Rule revisions, and PCI-DSS v4.0 requirements
- Support incident response documentation and breach notification procedures when needed
- Assist with internal compliance for Fisch Solutions, including SOC 2 readiness and vendor risk management
- Participate in client-facing meetings to explain findings, recommendations, and progress in plain language
- ---Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT compliance, audit, or information security roles
- Working knowledge of HIPAA Security and Privacy Rules
- Demonstrated experience with PCI-DSS (v3.2.1 and/or v4.0)
- Familiarity with CMMC (Levels 1 and 2) and underlying NIST SP 800-171 controls
- Experience supporting cyber liability insurance applications, renewals, and questionnaires
- Ability to read technical documentation and translate it into business language for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong written communication skills for policy drafting and client deliverables
- Self-directed work ethic — this role requires someone who can manage their own schedule and deliverables
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
