Umma Adult Day Healthcare is seeking Korean speaking Volunteers in the Orange County area to aid in our Mission: to support adults personal independence and promote social, physical, and emotional well-being.
As a Volunteer you will:
· Provide companionship and support to our participants and their families.
· Setup and join in our fun activities and programs.
· Help coordinate lunch and snack time
· Maintain a relaxing chill vibe
· Display compassion and care while helping our participants experience things they love to do or need help with.
· Provide valuable input on the patient's needs.
· Work with team members who share your passion.
· Provide clerical help with the staff when needed
· In this dynamic position, you can choose to take on a more business oriented role or a clinical role. Great for building your resume!
This is a relaxing, low stress volunteer position with the fulfillment of improving people’s lives!
· Experience with Activities programs (youth, senior or community preferred)
· Respecting the patient’s privacy and maintaining confidentiality
· Current California driver’s license and automobile insurance
· This is NOT a paid position - it is a VOLUNTEER position at a Brand New healthcare facility
