Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality food service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques.
- Familiarity with menu planning and food preparation processes.
