We’re looking for someone who can be the anchor of our evening and Saturday shifts.
This isn’t a traditional receptionist position. Our Guest Experience team helps keep a busy salon running smoothly while making every guest who walks through our doors feel genuinely cared for.
You’ll be supporting a team of busy stylists, managing schedules, communicating with guests, solving problems as they happen, and helping create an exceptional experience from check-in to checkout.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Naturally lead with hospitality and genuinely enjoy taking care of people.
- Are extremely organized and can keep track of multiple moving pieces at once.
- Can stay calm when things get busy. Phones ringing, guests arriving, schedules changing and multiple people needing you at once doesn’t send you into a tailspin.
- Are comfortable with technology and can quickly learn scheduling software, communication platforms and other systems.
- Are a strong communicator who can confidently interact with both guests and team members.
- Are open to feedback and willing to adjust, learn and grow.
- Notice what needs to be done and take initiative without always needing to be asked.
- Understand that being dependable matters—especially when the rest of the team is counting on you.
We want to be upfront: this is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role and it won't be the right fit for everyone.
This probably isn't your role if you:
- Prefer a job where you can sit back and wait to be told what to do.
- Get easily overwhelmed when several people need you at the same time.
- Struggle to stay calm when plans change, a stylist is running behind, the phone is ringing and a guest is standing in front of you.
- Don't enjoy working with technology or learning new systems.
- Have difficulty receiving direct feedback and coaching without taking it personally.
- Prefer working independently rather than being an important part of a team.
- Don't naturally notice the little things—an empty drink, a guest who looks confused, a schedule that's about to become a problem, or a teammate who needs help.
- See hospitality as simply being friendly. For us, hospitality means anticipating needs, solving problems and finding ways to make someone's experience better.
- Are looking for a Monday–Friday, daytime-only position. Evenings and Saturdays are a core part of this role.
- Want "just a front desk job."
What you'll be doing:
- Creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest
- Managing appointments and helping optimize stylist schedules
- Checking guests in and out
- Answering phones, texts and guest questions
- Supporting stylists throughout busy shifts
- Troubleshooting scheduling issues and last-minute changes
- Helping keep the salon organized, stocked and running smoothly
- Communicating clearly with the team when something needs attention
- Looking for opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests
Schedule
This position is specifically designed to help anchor our evening and Saturday shifts, so consistent availability during those times is essential.
You do not need salon experience to be successful in this role.
In fact, we would love to meet candidates with experience in hotels, restaurants, hospitality, retail, customer service, medical offices, spas or other fast-paced guest-facing environments.
We can teach you our salon systems.
What’s harder to teach is the ability to make people feel cared for, stay composed when the room gets busy, anticipate what needs to happen next, and take pride in being the person your team can count on.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.
