Overview
The In-Home Caregiver Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, screening, hiring, and onboarding qualified caregivers to ensure the agency maintains a dependable workforce capable of providing exceptional in-home care. This position plays a key role in meeting staffing needs by identifying compassionate, reliable, and qualified candidates while ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified caregiver candidates.
- Create and post job advertisements on online job boards, social media, and other recruitment platforms.
- Review applications and conduct phone screenings and in-person or virtual interviews.
- Evaluate candidates based on experience, skills, professionalism, and cultural fit.
- Verify employment history, references, certifications, and required documentation.
- Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Schedule and facilitate new hire onboarding.
- Maintain accurate applicant and employee records.
- Build relationships with community organizations, schools, workforce agencies, and job fairs to develop recruiting pipelines.
- Partner with scheduling and operations staff to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
- Maintain regular communication with applicants throughout the hiring process.
- Track recruiting metrics, including applicant flow, interviews, hires, and retention.
- Assist with employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency hiring requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous recruiting, staffing, or healthcare experience (preferred).
- Home care or caregiver recruiting experience is highly desirable.
- Strong interviewing and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google applicant tracking systems, and scheduling software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Work Environment
This position is office-based with occasional travel for recruitment activities. Standard business hours are expected Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm, with flexibility to attend evening or weekend hiring events when necessary.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
