We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to join our growing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practice with a team of 6 other Physician Assistants. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with surgeons and other physician assistants in both the operating room and clinical setting, with approximately 80% surgical responsibilities and 20% clinic-based patient care.

Position Responsibilities
● First assist in cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures
● Evaluate and manage patients preoperatively and postoperatively
● Conduct hospital rounds and manage inpatient care
● Provide postoperative follow-up care in the clinic setting
● Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary team members
● Assist with patient education, treatment planning, and postoperative instructions
● Participate in a rotating weekend hospital rounding schedule (approximately once every 7 weeks; typically 1–4 hours per day)
Qualifications
Required:
● Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
● Current Florida Physician Assistant License
● NCCPA Certification (PA-C)
● DEA License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Preferred:
● Previous surgical experience
● Experience with cosmetic and/or reconstructive surgery
● Proficiency with Cerner and/or Epic EMR systems
● Suturing experience
