Capstone at Covington Place, LP has received federal funding for the development of a multifamily residential community in Covington, LA. Milton J. Womack will serve as General Contractor. This HUD-funded project is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended (12 U.S.C. §1701u). Notice is given to subcontractors, Section 3 business concerns, and Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises of potential employment and contracting opportunities. Preference will be given to those who reside in, or whose businesses are located within, the Covington, Louisiana Metropolitan Statistical Area. All subcontractors and businesses must provide proof of liability and workers’ compensation insurance and documentation of Section 3 eligibility, and must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, Copeland Act, and Fair Labor Standards Act.
