Position Description:
The Coordinator of Multigenerational Ministries (CMM) supports and enhances St. Luke Lutheran Church in carrying out its mission of being “Rooted in God’s Word, Serving in God’s World” and it’s vision of being “an inviting and thriving multigenerational Congregation and Preschool” through leading and coordinating church multigenerational programs and occasional new initiatives, with an emphasis on accompanying and equipping parents, grandparents in raising children in all aspects of Christian worship, community life, education, and loving service. The St. Luke CMM encourages growing and diverse ministry participation; helps provide safe, attractive “entry points” into the community for new families and individuals; demonstrates a commitment to excellence; and fosters a spirit of holy experimentation and listening heart.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Training and experience in Godly Play, Faith Stepping Stones, Sparkhouse Christian Education curricula and products, or similar.
· Previous ministry experience with all ages and integration of older and younger church members.
· Familiarity with the dynamics of a Christian Preschool
· Certification in or evidence of continuous education in the fields of Christian Education, Family Ministry, or related fields.
