Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering systems.
- Service vehicle systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and powertrain components to ensure optimal operation.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension inspections to prolong vehicle lifespan.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs such as welding, auto body repair, and component replacements.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex problems on GM vehicles and other makes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring work is completed promptly and accurately.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent shop background preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems including diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for precise troubleshooting.
- Experience working with auto estimating software is a plus.
- Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems along with experience in auto body repair is advantageous.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
