This is a part-time, weekday-only, year-round position. Under the supervision of the School Programs Coordinator, the Year-Round Counselor is responsible for leading activities, fostering positive relationships, and supporting school-age participants in a recreational setting.
The counselor ensures all duties are carried out in alignment with the program’s core values, goals, and policies established by administrative staff.

Positions in this classification typically require the ability to: climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions.
Physical Demands (Medium Work)
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity
The position requires visual acuity sufficient to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments.
