American Traveler is hiring an experienced IV Therapy RN for a 13-week days assignment requiring active MA RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of IV/venous access experience.

Hospital-based IV Therapy unit assignment
-
36 hours per week on day shift (07:00-19:30), rotating
-
Patient population spans all ages, including neonatal, infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
-
Uses Epic EMR for charting
-
No floating required
-
13-week contract assignment
-
Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)

AHA BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience on an IV/Venous Access team required

BSN preferred
-
Must demonstrate core IV Therapy competencies including peripheral IV insertion, CVAD dressing changes, non-tunneled CVAD removal, thrombolytic reconstitution/instillation/removal, port access/de-access, PICC line repositioning, and ultrasound-guided IV insertion

Skilled in IV insertion, ultrasound-guided IV placement, and PICC line insertion

Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start via NURSYS and Board of Nursing

Responsible for achieving and maintaining core IV Therapy skills and competencies for the department

Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Local candidates accepted, but must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel rate

Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
