Machinist – OD Grinder, Experienced
First Shift: 7 am - 3 pm
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable and self-motivated individual to operate our OD Grinder. The qualified applicant must be detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly. The candidate must have an openness to new training, knowledge and skills. Previous industry experience is preferred.
Job requirements include:
· Set up, operate, and monitor stainless steel and chromed work pieces on our Chevalier semi-automatic OD and Surface Grinders
· Perform minor manual OD/Surface Grinding, when necessary
· Able to work with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, comparators, and air gauges
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical sketches
· Work to tolerances as tight as +/-.0001
· Strong attention to detail
The regular work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am – 3pm.
