Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience, providing recommendations and answering questions about drinks and menu items.
- Manage bar operations efficiently by utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while practicing responsible cash handling and cashiering procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy hours at nightclubs, banquets, or food service events.
- Uphold all food safety regulations and responsible serving practices to promote a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender or mixologist in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in fast-paced environments within the food industry or hospitality sector.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Experience with catering events or retail math for inventory control is a plus.
