Server (Traditional Korean Soup House)

Join our team at a brand new traditional Korean soup house specializing in authentic Korean comfort foods including seolleongtang, galbitang, galbijjim, and handmade side dishes served with warm hospitality.
We are looking for friendly, dependable, and hardworking servers who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
- Explain menu items, soup varieties, spice levels, and traditional Korean dishes to guests.
- Serve and maintain banchan (Korean side dishes) throughout the meal.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system and communicate with kitchen staff.
- Deliver food promptly and ensure correct presentation.
- Anticipate guest needs including refilling water, tea, rice, and side dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to speak Korean preferred
- Korean restaurant experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Korean cuisine or willingness to learn menu details quickly.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Korean language ability is a plus but not required.
- Experience with Kwickmenu POS or similar systems.
- Familiarity with Korean dining culture and banchan service.
