Lead and work alongside a hardscape crew to complete daily project tasks

Review job plans, measurements, materials, and project expectations before and during each project

Install patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, drainage systems, and other outdoor features

Perform excavation, grading, layout, base preparation, and compaction

Operate construction equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, and saws

Assign tasks and organize the crew to maximize productivity and efficiency

Train crew members on proper installation techniques and safe equipment operation

Monitor workmanship, address quality concerns, and ensure project standards are met

Track labor, materials, and job progress throughout each project
-
Communicate daily with the Production Manager regarding project updates and needs

Maintain an organized, safe, and professional job site at all times
-
Complete required job notes, time entries, and photos using company software
-
Care for company trucks, tools, and equipment to ensure reliability and safety
-
Three or more years of experience in hardscape or landscape construction preferred
-
Previous experience leading a crew is preferred

Strong knowledge of hardscape installation practices and techniques

Ability to read plans, perform layouts, and establish grades

Experience operating construction equipment

Organizational skills to manage materials, labor, and daily production

Valid drivers license

Dependable, organized, and effective communicator

Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions

ICPI or other industry certifications are a plus

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required
$25$35 per hour, based on demonstrated hardscape experience and leadership ability. Candidates with proven skills in independent project management, including layout, grading, material planning, equipment operation, quality control, crew leadership, and daily job documentation, will be considered for the upper portion of the range.
