Join our dynamic team as a Utility Worker, Delivery Driver, and Warehouse Associate — a versatile role that keeps our operations running smoothly and efficiently! In this energetic position, you’ll be responsible for handling warehouse tasks, safely operating delivery vehicles, and supporting logistics to ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and organize materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Operate box trucks and commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and adhere to traffic laws during route driving
- Deliver goods directly to customers’ locations using personal or company-provided vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Load and secure cargo properly for transport, ensuring safe lifting practices and weight handling standards are followed at all times
- Use mobile devices or delivery apps to navigate routes efficiently, communicate with dispatchers, and update delivery statuses
- Load & unload shipments with attention to safety protocols, manual transmission operation (where applicable), and heavy lifting techniques to prevent injuries
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving or delivery driving; ability to operate a box truck or courier vehicle is essential
- Experience with manual handling, moving heavy items safely, and operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is highly desirable
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and adherence to traffic laws during route driving
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally during deliveries
- Ability to lift heavy loads consistently while following safe lifting practices; physical stamina is necessary for manual handling tasks
- Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation during daily routes
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with <PERSON> driver or courier roles is advantageous
