We’re a growing custom woodworking shop specializing in high-quality cabinets, countertops, and architectural millwork for the commercial casework industry. We’re looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our team of 7-10 and keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and supervise a crew of 10 in daily operations including cabinetry, countertops, and millwork production
- Oversee CNC operations and other woodworking machinery
- Manage workflow, scheduling, and quality control to meet deadlines
- Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety
- Coordinate with ownership on production goals, inventory, and process improvements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
What You Need:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in woodworking / millwork manufacturing
- Minimum 3–5 years managing or leading a manufacturing/production team (ideally 8+ people)
- Strong experience with CNC machines and modern woodworking equipment
- Familiarity with AWI (Architectural Woodwork Institute) standards
- Solid understanding of cabinetry, countertops, and custom millwork processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints, manage multiple projects, and maintain high quality standards
