Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated parent and me and preschool dance and specialty enrichment instructor to join our vibrant team starting mid June with training beginning asap! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with young toddler and preschool age children and experience in leading parent and me, dance and/or specialty enrichment type classes.
Classes are held on site in La Mesa Thursday mornings at 9:00am-12:00pm.
Compensation is $25-45 per individual 30 minute class x 5 classes based on enrollment in each class.
Opportunities for more classes on other mornings, afternoons and evenings in the fall with subbing and training opportunities leading up to that, if desired.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dance and music and movement instruction; additional experience in specialty enrichment style classes a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students of varying ages, including children and adults.
- Background in early childhood education or experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively convey concepts and instructions.
- A passion for children and teaching, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
