Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
- Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, balancing wait times and table availability to optimize flow.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly.
- Handle cashier duties, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing cash register transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and cashier station to ensure a professional appearance at all times.
- Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing information about menu items, wait times, and restaurant policies.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest experiences from seating to payment completion.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Experience working with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required.
- A friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
