Program: After-School Robotics - 6 Weeks Program
Grade Level: 6th - 8th Grade
Start Date: Sep 14, 2026
Schedule: Mondays, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Compensation: $55 per session (includes paid prep)
Role Overview
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Robotics Instructor to lead hands-on activities for students in grades 6–8. In this role, you’ll help children explore robotics while developing creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with kids and is passionate about STEM education.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate 60-minute robotics sessions once a week using provided lesson plans.
- Guide students step by step in building and programming their projects.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning space.
- Support collaboration, curiosity, and persistence in every session.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Background working with children (classroom, camps, enrichment programs, or similar).
- Familiarity with Robotics platforms (Mindstorms, EV3, NXT, LEGO League, etc.).
- Strong communication, reliability, and organizational skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with occasional last-minute assignments.
- Genuine enthusiasm for STEM and encouraging young learners.
