Our preschool in Troy, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our team. If you love working with little ones and thrive in a warm, faith-centered environment, we’d love to hear from you!
We are a Christian-based preschool serving children ages 2 through 12 years old. Our mission is to provide a nurturing, engaging, and faith-filled environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We believe in partnering with families to support the whole child while reflecting God’s love in all that we do.
As the Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of our youngest students. This position is perfect for someone with at least one year of experience working with children, a love for teaching, and a heart for creating a joyful and safe classroom environment.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Teaching and Curriculum Implementation: Follow a provided curriculum to deliver age-appropriate lessons that promote learning and development.
- Care and Supervision: Provide attentive care to children, including diaper changing and potty training, while ensuring their safety at all times.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Building Relationships: Foster meaningful connections with children, families, and fellow staff members to create a supportive and collaborative community.
- Cleaning Duties: Assist with daily cleaning tasks to ensure a healthy and tidy space for children to learn and play.

- A passion for teaching and nurturing children in a faith-centered environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children, families, and colleagues.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging classroom.
- The ability to follow curriculum guidelines while bringing creativity and enthusiasm to daily activities.
We value and care for our staff as much as we do our students. As part of our team, you’ll enjoy:
- Paid time off after four months of employment.
- Paid holidays to spend with your loved ones.
- Health benefits after six months of employment.
- Bonuses to recognize your hard work and dedication.
- Free lunch on Fridays to end the week on a high note!
