A local organization is seeking an Operations Assistant/Receptionist who will be responsible for providing general office support, directing communication, answering phones, greeting guests, performing purchasing, maintenance tracking, and other office duties. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
- Screen and greet guests and employees
- Answer phones and transferring to appropriate person and/or screening calls to ensure sales and bill collectors are not routed to employees
- Notify the appropriate staff of guests and phone calls
- Perform purchasing duties
- Track maintenance repairs
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- A minimum of 1 year clerical or receptionist experience preferred
- Must be computer literate, typing at least 45 wpm, and accurate data entry abilities
- Must have excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Must be able to pay a high attention to detail
- Must have a professional and personable demeanor at all times
- Must be comfortable with frequent bending, twisting, standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
