Host / Hostess Responsibilities
-
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and energetic attitude

Manage reservations and seating assignments using our reservation system

Maintain an organized host stand and front‑of‑house area

Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations during peak hours

Escort guests to tables, present menus, and highlight specials or promotions

Assist with special requests, including accessibility needs, high chairs, and preferred seating

Answer guest questions, resolve concerns, and communicate issues to management

Coordinate with servers and front‑of‑house staff to maintain smooth guest flow

Maintain strong menu and beverage knowledge to assist guests

Manage the waitlist during busy periods and keep guests informed

Support cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the front‑of‑house

Thank guests upon departure and gather feedback to enhance the guest experience
Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills
