Competitive Gymnastics Coach
The Competitive Gymnastics Coach is responsible for training and developing competitive gymnasts by teaching proper techniques, building strength and confidence, and preparing athletes for competitions. The coach creates a positive, safe, and supportive environment while helping athletes reach their individual and team goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead practices for competitive gymnastics athletes.

Teach proper gymnastics techniques, skills, and progressions.

Develop training plans that improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and performance.

Prepare athletes for competitions through routine development and consistent coaching.

Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback.

Ensure a safe training environment by enforcing proper equipment use and safety procedures.

Attend competitions, meets, and team events as required.

Foster teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among athletes.

Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and program staff.

Maintain attendance records and assist with competition and event preparation.
Qualifications:
-
Experience coaching competitive gymnastics preferred.

Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skill development, and safety practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
-
Ability to motivate and mentor athletes of various ages and skill levels.
-
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred, if applicable).

Ability to work evenings and weekends for practices, competitions, and special events.
