Autism & Behavioral Support Specialist (Psychology Degree Required)
Location: Phoenixville/Pottstown Area, PA
Schedule: Full-Time | Sunday–Saturday | Daylight Hours

Inspire Home and Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Autism & Behavioral Support Specialist to provide 1:1 and 2:1 Enhanced support to adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities in both their homes and throughout the community.
Working alongside our Behavioral Support team, you'll help individuals develop independence, build confidence, and improve their quality of life by implementing positive behavioral strategies and teaching valuable life skills.
This position is ideal for Psychology graduates who are passionate about behavioral health and want hands-on experience making a real difference.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and 2:1 support in participants' homes and community settings.
- Implement individualized Behavior Support Plans under the guidance of the clinical team.
- Support community integration through recreational, vocational, and social activities.
- Teach daily living, communication, and independent living skills.
- Utilize positive behavior supports and de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
- Collect documentation and communicate participant progress.
- Collaborate with Behavioral Specialists, Program Specialists, families, and other providers.
- Promote participant choice, dignity, and independence while ensuring safety.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology
- Experience working with individuals with autism and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass all required background checks
- Male staff required based on participant support needs
Preferred
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience implementing Behavior Support Plans
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or similar training
- Experience supporting adults with autism
- ABA or community behavioral health experience

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
