We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Account Manager to help expand our footprint and strengthen partnerships across our territory. In this role, you'll take ownership of both existing customer relationships and new business development, making a direct impact on our continued growth.
What You'll Do:
As an Account Manager, you'll serve as a trusted partner to your customers while identifying new opportunities to grow the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain and grow a portfolio of existing accounts through strong relationship management.
- Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews, and needs assessments to drive satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
- Prospect, research, and secure new business opportunities within your territory
- Analyze market trends, emerging customer segments, and competitive opportunities.
- Coordinate and lead local account trainings with product and vendor partners
- Provide insights on competitors, pricing strategies, and product offerings within your region.
- Represent the company at industry events, vendor showcases, and sales meetings
What You Bring
We're looking for a motivated self-started with a passion for sales and relationship building.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ field sales experience, with flooring sales experience a plus
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to tailor messaging to different customer types and decision-makers
- Proven ability to manage time, prioritize opportunities, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
