Chesaning Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a 39-bed skilled nursing facility seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are dependable, compassionate, and committed to consistent resident care.
This is a stable long-term care CNA position in a small, team-oriented environment where staff are able to build meaningful relationships with residents and coworkers.
Position Details
- Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
- Schedule: Rotating 4-week schedule
- Every other weekend required
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Small 39-bed skilled nursing / long-term care facility
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking CNAs who are reliable, resident-focused, and able to consistently work their scheduled shifts. Attendance and dependability are essential, as our residents rely on familiar caregivers.
Applicants should be prepared for the expectations of a skilled nursing facility CNA role, including consistent teamwork, communication, and resident-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (Michigan)
- Ability to reliably work assigned schedule including every other weekend
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Updated resume required for consideration
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (new CNAs welcome)
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility, transfers, and repositioning
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition
- Provide compassionate, dignified, resident-centered care
- Accurately document care provided
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff and the care team
