Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development in infants
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences
- Follow all mandated reporting laws and health regulations, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures
- Support individual developmental needs by adapting activities and care routines for children with disabilities or special requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive classroom experience that fosters positive behavior management and classroom management strategies
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants in daycare centers, preschools, or similar childcare settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and infant care best practices
- Experience with child supervision, behavior management, and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with special education strategies for children with disabilities or developmental delays
- Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork in a dynamic environment
- Previous experience working with children with diverse needs enhances your ability to support individualized care plans

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
