Rehab Aide / Patient Care Coordinator

We are a growing outpatient physical therapy clinic in Williamsville, NY focused on providing high-quality, personalized care to our patients. We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Rehab Aide / Patient Care Coordinator.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, being part of a healthcare team, and helping a clinic run smoothly. The role combines patient interaction, clinical support, and administrative responsibilities.
ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Rehabilitation Support
- Assist physical therapists with patient care and clinic flow
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions
- Assist patients with exercises and activities under the direction of the physical therapist
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment
- Help ensure patients have a positive experience from arrival through discharge
Patient Care Coordination / Front Office Duties
- Greet patients and provide excellent customer service
- Answer phones and assist with patient questions
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Collect copayments and assist with front desk operations
- Verify patient information and assist with paperwork
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance companies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous healthcare, physical therapy, athletic training, exercise science, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented personality
- Comfortable interacting with patients of all ages
- CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
