Win Depot Restaurant Equipment Center is a leading supplier of foodservice equipment and supplies. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist that can help our restaurant equipment and supplies business.
Accounts Receivable Specialist
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Post client payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Prepare cash and check payments for bank; make copies of all check payments; totaling and recording the deposit amounts, filling out deposit slips and bundling the funds and slips; making deposits at the bank
- Review unpaid bills and identify issues
- Reviews customer’s account to correct inaccurate information and identify any outstanding payments
- Interacts directly with customer to resolve credit and collection issues
- Employs collection strategies for outstanding invoices on customer’s account
- Partners with account manager to resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Reviews customer statements on a monthly basis
- Prepare, verify and upload invoice statements
- Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Research discrepancies such as short payments and duplicate payments
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work on Saturdays.
- Strong logical thinking ability, sense of responsibility, good work habits, sound judgment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers.
- Detail and deadline oriented
- Associates or higher degree in finance/accounting or similar field
- Minimum 2 years experience working with Accounts Receivable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
