Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and specialized clinical areas to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care across diverse settings, including acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set encompassing critical care, cardiology, ophthalmology, and behavioral health, ensuring high-quality outcomes for a diverse patient population. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories.
- Administer medications via various routes such as IV infusion, injections, and topical applications while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Manage complex clinical procedures including catheterization, suturing, tube feeding, and ostomy care.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate care plans with multidisciplinary teams for patients requiring specialized services like dialysis, cardiac catheterization, or trauma medicine.
- Provide triage in urgent care or emergency settings by evaluating symptoms and prioritizing interventions.
- Support patients with chronic conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or developmental disabilities through tailored nursing interventions.
- Educate patients and families on health management strategies including pain management, nutrition, and medication administration.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all medical records.
- Participate in discharge planning and case management to facilitate smooth transitions of care.
- Maintain proficiency in laboratory specimen collection/processing and diagnostic evaluation procedures.
Skills
- 18 months of permanant RN MS/tele exp required
- BLS, ACLS required
Pay: $2,600.00 - $3,300.00 per week
