Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy! Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to support clients’ developmental goals
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting, promoting independence
- Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform treatment adjustments
- Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching and behavioral reinforcement strategies
- Collaborate with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to ensure treatment fidelity and adherence to ethical standards
- Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times
- Engage in home-based behavioral therapy sessions, providing consistent care tailored to each client’s needs
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to start date
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorder
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education strategies
- Ability to collect detailed data accurately and maintain thorough medical documentation
- Compassionate attitude with excellent patience when working with children and individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings is preferred
- Experience in home-based therapy environments is a plus but not required
- Commitment to professional and ethical standards outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
