Job Title: Area Operations Manager
Location: Etna, OH
Salary Range: $170,000-185,000/YR
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking an Area Operations Manager to support operations growth across regional offices. This role is responsible for branch profitability and growth along with generating new customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion a strong culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple business locations.
- Provide leadership and oversight for regional operations, ensuring consistency in service delivery, performance standards, and company policies.
- Drive business growth through strategic planning, market expansion initiatives, and development of new client relationships.
- Lead, mentor, and develop management teams and staff to build high-performing, accountable organizations.
- Monitor operational performance and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to support business objectives, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze financial and operational metrics, preparing regular performance updates and recommendations for executive leadership.
- Partner with sales and business development teams to maintain a healthy pipeline, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen strategic relationships.
- Oversee all aspects of regional business operations, including project execution, customer experience, workforce planning, and revenue performance.
- Evaluate market trends and regional business conditions to support forecasting, resource allocation, and expansion strategies.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and operational plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Ensure effective project oversight and financial controls, driving accountability for project performance and operational outcomes.
- Optimize labor utilization and staffing levels to support changing business demands throughout the year.
- Work closely with regional leaders to improve operational results, support employee development, and maintain organizational alignment.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions to support long-term growth and scalability.
- Hold leadership teams accountable for performance, employee engagement, and achievement of established business objectives.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- RCDD, PMP, or RTPM Certification
Experience:
- 10+ years of telecommunications/low-voltage experience
- 7-10 years of management experience and revenue growth experience
