Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and highly professional receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly, taking messages when necessary.
- Manage and maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Provide support to various departments as needed, including handling inquiries and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Maintain office supplies and handle mail and deliveries.
- Ensure customer service excellence and address any visitor or client concerns in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the office manager or supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (but not required); additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift light office supplies (up to 20 pounds) when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
