Job description:
Position Summary
Join a local manufacturing metal fabrication shop with strong room for growth and advancement. Leaders Staffing is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Supervisor with an engineering background and solid metal fabrication experience to lead daily shop operations, support continuous improvement, and drive quality and safety. Work closely with the Operations Director to lead plant.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily fabrication shop operations and production flow
- Lead and support welders, fabricators, and operators
- Work closely with engineering to improve processes and resolve issues
- Ensure quality standards, safety practices, and on-time delivery
- Support training and development of shop personnel
Qualifications:
- Engineering background or equivalent technical experience
- Experience in metal fabrication (welding, forming, machining, or similar)
- Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
