American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring craniotomy and burr hole experience across a multi-specialty surgical environment.

Work in the Operating Room of an acute care hospital setting
-
Surgical specialties include Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics/Trauma cases
-
Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

Call and late days required as part of the schedule

Floating to an additional campus or another acceptable unit may be required
-
13-week contract

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Craniotomy and burr hole experience required

OR experience across neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics specialties strongly preferred
-
2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

The facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions

Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive drug screen result both before and after pre-employment screening

Candidates residing within 150 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to the facility's local candidate rate eligibility rules
