The Room to Grow is a small, mixed-age learning community serving children ages three to five in the heart of San Francisco. Inspired by the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach, emergent curriculum, and play-based learning, we view children as capable, curious, and deeply competent learners.
Our program is grounded in the belief that meaningful learning emerges through relationships, inquiry, collaboration, and engagement with the world beyond the classroom. We strive to create a vibrant learning environment where children, teachers, and families learn alongside one another and where the classroom extends into the broader community.
We are a highly collaborative team of reflective educators who value creativity, curiosity, humor, and ongoing professional growth. We are seeking thoughtful, energetic, and passionate teachers who are excited to contribute their unique talents and perspectives to our learning community.
The ideal candidate is a reflective practitioner who values relationships, sees themselves as a co-learner alongside children, and is excited to participate in a collaborative teaching culture rooted in inquiry and innovation.
