As we expand our footprint in the US and Canadian markets, we are looking for a versatile Technical Sales / Marketing member to join our team in Gastonia, NC. If you enjoy a mix of technical sales and client interaction, this is the perfect role for you.
AVTA requires personnel to staff the Gastonia operation as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
· Sales:
o Contact existing and potential new clients utilizing a variety of mediums to maintain or establish relationships
o Develop leads and handle inquiries from a variety of sources
o Review and issue proposals for testing, CAPEX, Aftermarket, and Services.
o Travel as required to client meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
· Marketing:
o Work with Marketing at VTA HQ in Germany
o Investigate Market trends and topics, develop understanding of markets as they pertain to our specific technology
o Manage Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, maintain and proactively engage on social media business platforms (LinkedIn).
Personnel Expectations:
· Education:
o Technical degree or background required. Preferred mechanical with heat transfer knowledge and chemical process understanding
· Travel:
o International travel to VTA Headquarters in Germany.
o Ability to travel the US and Canada. Expect 10-15% travel.
· Communication:
o Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
o Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications
o CRM experience is a plus
· Technical:
o Read and understand P&ID’s
o Experience with process equipment datasheets.
o Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD experience a plus.
