We're currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team for a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 2–4 months.
$23.00–$27.00 per hour (based on experience)

As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll support the day-to-day accounts payable function while ensuring invoices are processed accurately and vendors are paid on time.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the full-cycle accounts payable process from invoice receipt through payment

Reviewing, coding, and entering vendor invoices accurately and efficiently

Matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation

Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues

Processing check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers

Reconciling vendor statements and maintaining positive vendor relationships

Maintaining vendor files, including W-9s and payment information

Assisting with month-end closing activities and financial reporting

Supporting annual audits by providing requested documentation

Monitoring aging reports to ensure timely vendor payments

Identifying opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and efficiency

Collaborating with operations teams to resolve invoice and purchasing discrepancies

Maintaining the confidentiality of financial information

Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience required

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience preferred

Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles

Experience with ERP or accounting software (Karmak experience is a plus)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
