Description:
The Critical Care Nurse Manager is responsible for the clinical, operational, and administrative management of a two-suite surgical department and a four-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role ensures safe, high-quality patient care in compliance with Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and California Title 22 regulations. The Nurse Manager provides leadership to nursing and ancillary staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Education and Licensure

Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN or MBA preferred.

Current BLS and ACLS certification required; CNOR and/or CCRN strongly preferred.
Experience

Minimum of 5 years of recent critical care and/or perioperative nursing experience.

Minimum of 2 years of leadership or charge nurse experience in ICU or OR.

Demonstrated knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, and Title 22 regulations.
