Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shop Cleanup & Organization Specialist to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace within our shop environments. This role is important in ensuring that the shop area remains organized, clutter-free, and compliant with safety standards. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and committed to creating a productive work atmosphere by keeping the work areas swept and goods in those areas organized. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the smooth operation of our shop operations and logistics processes.
Duties
- Conduct thorough cleaning of the warehouse shop area, including sweeping and trash emptying for multiple buildings
- Help organize and put away tools to maintain good shop process.
- As needed help with inventory organization
- If capable, operate forklift to help organize molds or product to assist in clean organization
- Maintain a tidy workspace by sorting misplaced items, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining a clean workspace; a person in this position will be motivated to keep areas consistently with the same organization
- Certification or experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Comfortability moving and lifting up to 50 lbs on occassion.
