Position Summary
The Task Manager is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and driving the completion of all tasks within a project or program. This role ensures that every task is clearly defined, assigned to the right owner, monitored for progress, and completed on schedule. The Task Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to remove blockers, maintain accountability, and keep the project moving efficiently. The role is highly operational, detail-focused, and centered on accountability.
Key Responsibilities
· Task Planning — Break down project goals into actionable tasks with clear requirements, owners, and deadlines.
· Progress Monitoring — Track task status daily or weekly, update dashboards, and ensure accurate reporting.
· Deadline Management — Follow up with task owners, identify delays early, and escalate risks when needed.
· Cross-Team Coordination — Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment and smooth workflow.
· Issue Resolution — Identify blockers, propose solutions, and escalate issues to leadership.
· Documentation — Maintain task lists, notes, requirements, and status updates in project management tools.
· Stakeholder Updates — Provide regular updates to management, team leads, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience in a project coordinator/manager role.
· Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet or MS Project.
· Organization — Keeps complex task lists structured and up to date
· Time Management — Prioritizes tasks and deadlines, handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
· Ability to analyze task dependencies, risks, and timelines.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and address issues proactively.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Work cross-functionally with numerous people and teams.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
