Pediatric rehabilitation facility looking to add a Medical Insurance Specialist to their Internal Client Accounting Dept. Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Insurance verification
- Authorizations for services
- Engagement with families for review of financials
- Preparation of statements and collection on accounts
- Resolve/appeal insurance denials
- Interaction with administrative and therapy staff from multiple offices
Ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the complexity of insurance and insurance prior authorizations. They will be a team player who is self-motivated, with strong organization skills, be a creative problem solver, and have positive communication skills to interface with patients and team members in a professional manner.
