Right at Home Santa Barbara is hiring part-time caregivers! This is a great fit for recent graduates who want real patient experience, a schedule that works around interviews, licensing, or continued schooling, with a supportive team behind them.
This is meaningful, resume-building work. You'll provide one-on-one care to seniors in their homes, build genuine relationships, and put your training to use with the flexibility you need during your transition.
Pay: $19–23/hr plus a $2 weekend shift differential

What You'll Do
- Provide personal care to seniors, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and social activities
- Assist with mobility and transfer needs
- Help with nighttime routines, including occasional incontinence care
- Keep accurate records of the care you provide and any changes in a client's condition
- Respond calmly and capably to client needs as they come up
All of our clients have different needs and specific care plans. We will never match you with a client who requires care beyond your comfort level and knowledge.
What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Willing to commute to the Santa Barbara area
