Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in providing in-home behavioral therapy services. This hybrid part-time role offers flexible scheduling with growth opportunities and the chance to make a meaningful impact on children with developmental disabilities, including autism. The ideal candidate will have experience in applied behavior analysis, working with children, and a strong understanding of medical documentation and patient assessment. This position emphasizes patient-centered care within a supportive, professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments.
- Conduct in-home therapy sessions utilizing behavioral health techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collect, analyze, and document data accurately to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
- Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Perform intake assessments for new clients, ensuring thorough understanding of each child's unique needs.
- Provide training and support to caregivers to promote generalization of skills across environments.
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral therapy, special education, and medical terminology to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligible for certification.
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
- Familiarity with medical documentation, patient care procedures, and medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments within a clinical or home setting.
- Ability to work independently in a home environment while maintaining professional standards.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information. Pay: $90.00 - $120.00 per hour
